The Priority visa service had not been available since early August 2019 for New Zealand based applicants wishing to apply for UK visas from within New Zealand. This is due to the new online visa service provider, VFS Global, now operating in Auckland. A recent update from UK Visas and Immigration advises the Priority visa service is now available as an added service through the new online visa service provider but not through its other online application service, Visa4UK. Therefore, we will now utilise the new service provider VFS Global in Auckland for our clients who require Priority visa services. So far we understand this will most likely involve applicants having to come to Auckland to enrol their biometric information, however, this is yet to be confirmed. It is early days regarding the new online UK visa service in New Zealand and it is part of the international roll out undertaken by UKVI regarding updating its online services worldwide.
