Applications are never the same and each has its own narrative and unique factors that means every case is different, and here are some of our success stories:
- We acted in a UK Settlement visa for a client wishing to migrate to the UK with their spouse to retire and join adult children. The application was lodged under the new processing procedures for New Zealand, and was approved and returned within one month.
- We represented a retired client who had had a UK Returning Residents Visa application declined due to incorrect documents submitted. They had previously some years back had lived in the UK for a significant amount of time (nearly 30 years) but had been out of the UK too long to have their residence in the UK restored. We prepared a full Settlement Visa application and it was approved and our client was able to return to the UK to live with their partner, and reunite with family and adult children in the UK.
- We assisted a young family who had a Settlement Visa declined due to incorrect documentation submitted. The family home in New Zealand had already been sold and a family home in the UK already purchased. We urgently re-assessed eligibility and advised on how to meet the minimum financial requirements and resubmitted a new application. The application was approved and the young family were able to depart to go and live in the UK in their new house.
- We acted for a young family wishing to migrate to the UK. They contacted us in advance and we were able to advise with confidence of the need to sell their home, as they had already planned, in order to meet the minimum financial rules. We advised their property solicitors of the documents required, and we were able to have a Settlement visa successfully approved.
- We represented an Ancestry applicant who had to return to New Zealand to reapply for their Ancestry visa in order to return to the UK. Our client had to leave behind their partner with young children and take leave from their employment in order to prevent unlawful time in the UK beginning to add and possibly prevent re-entry. We submitted a full UK Ancestry visa application demonstrating not only the standard eligibility for an Ancestry visa but also the compelling need to return to their young family. It was successfully completed very quickly and our client flew back to the UK immediately to join their family.
